AprilAire 4119 Pleat Spacer For Air Purifier Models 2200, 2250, 2600 (5-Pack)

SAVE TIME & UPGRADE PERFORMANCE Consider the AprilAire 1213 Upgrade Kit for AprilAire Air Purifier 2200. It replaces the original AprilAire 201 filter with a high performance 213 filter and new filter frame system, eliminating Pleat Spacers.

Pleat Spacers support and maintain proper spacing between the folds of the air filtration media in some models of AprilAire media air purifier units. They're black, injection-molded plastic combs that provide proper structure for the air filter to prevent it from collapsing. Uniform loading of the filtration media ensures maximum life from it. AprilAire's Pleat Spacers are manufactured in the USA.

The Model 4119 Spacers each measure 5.8 inches H x 21 inches W. Pleat Spacer package includes all 5 spacers needed for compatible purifier models.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Carefully place one Pleat Spacer "finger" into each pleat starting at one end of the filter.
2. Snap the end tabs into the notches on the inner housing.
3. After the first Pleat Spacer is in place, thread the next Pleat Spacer in alongside the first and gently move it down the length of the filter to the furthest notch and snap into place. This will simplify installation.
4. Repeat for all Spacers.

REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Position the inner housing so the short end is closest to you and the Pleat Spacers are on top.
2. Pinch the Pleat Spacer firmly at each end, as close to the end tab as possible.
3. Rotate the Spacer up and away from you within the inner housing.
4. When the end tabs release, lift the spacer up and out of the filter.
